The Lord's Supper is very important. We remember its significance as we partake of it together as the family of God. It reminds us of the life and work of Jesus and it marks us as people of His new covenant. It is an integral part of Christian worship. It is a soul stirring experience because of the depth of meaning it contains. It was during the age old celebration of Passover on the eve of His death that Jesus instituted a new fellowship meal that we observe to this day. It causes us to remember our Lord's death and resurrection and to look for His glorious return in the near future.
